Regular Season Round 17: RBS Centrs - Vilniaus KM 79-83

There was no surprise when 57th ranked LatvianRBS Centrs (2-6) lost to leader Lithuanian Vilniaus KM (4-0) 79-83 on Friday. Vilniaus KM trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 4 points. Vilniaus KM shot 27 for 38 from the free-throw line, while RBS Centrs only scored eight points from the stripe. Dominik Lavrinovich nailed 22 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winning side and guard Lukas Lukauskis (185-2009) accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Raivo Indans (175-2009) came up with 23 points and 8 rebounds and Roberts Zvaigzne added 8 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for RBS Centrs in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Vilniaus KM went down to first position due to points difference, which they share with Basketbola Klase and Hot Pepper. Loser RBS Centrs dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. They share the position with A.Kraukla/VEF.
